Pallavi Bharadwaj is a trained Bharatanatyam and Kathak dancer based out of Vancouver, Canada. Her journey as a Bharatanatyam dancer began at a tender age of 6, under the tutelage and guidance of Karnataka Kalashree Sri. Kiran Subramanyam and Smt. Sandhya Kiran at Rasika Arts Foundation, Bangalore. She is also trained in Carnatic Music, Veena and is currently pursuing her passion for Kathak under the guidance of Karnataka Kalashree Smt. Nirupama Rajendra and Sri. T D Rajendra at Abhinava Dance Company, Bangalore. She is also a chess player and swimmer of merit.
Pallavi offered her debut performance in the year 2010 at Bangalore and there is no looking back ever since. Some of her noteworthy performances include the EFCEP series, Sankramana dance festival, Nrutya Sinchana dance festival. She has also performed extensively with the Rasika Dance Ensemble at prestigious Dance Festivals across the country.
Pallavi is a recipient of Scholarship from the prestigious Karnataka Sangeetha Nrithya Academy. She is also a graded Bharatanatyam artiste of the Bengaluru Doordarshan. She has completed her Karnataka State Senior Examinations securing the 4th rank in the state. She was awarded the ‘Best Dancer’ for her continued efforts and undying commitment for Dance from her institute, Rasika.
Initiated to Bharatanatyam at the age of 6 under the guidance of Gurus Sri. Kiran Subramanyam and Smt. Sandhya Kiran at their institute of dance, Rasika Arts Foundation, Bengaluru.
Initiated to Kathak under the tutelage of Gurus Smt. Nirupama Rajendra and Sri.T D Rajendra in 2014 at their institute, Abhinava Dance Company, Bengaluru.
